S.Severa- Fiumicino
From Santa Severa to Fiumicino, pedaling along the Riserva Litorale Romano. Discover the Torre Flavia Natural Monument and the Maccarese canals, following the legacy of land reclamation.
Given the criticality of some stretches, in addition to the train stations at the ends, we also recommend the intermediate stations of Cerenova, Ladispoli, Maccarese, and Palidoro, allowing you to break up the route into several sections and avoid the Aurelia, experimenting with the train+bike approach.
From Easter to September, we recommend traveling during the week, as on weekends, trains are crowded with Romans reaching the seaside resorts.

GPX track
Pay attention: the route is classified as yellow (> go to the classification of routes) due to some asphalted sections (along first 24 km) where car traffic requires attention, especially because the width of the lane is narrow.
